about

Welcome to 1984...the Year After 2016. This album, a historical storytelling by Lewd Tuna of the events that led to the Great War, brings us back to a time where Jee Man was not in charge, watching us, and covering everything up. With everything that happened following 2016, the world went from a moderate speed of de-evolution, to a steep downhill. Everybody broke up into their own groups, trying to fight this and that, choosing not to focus on one problem and pursue it. The worst part, it's exactly what they wanted. The ozone layer was dissolving, earthquakes caused by fracking, officers killing civilians without asking questions, and the bombs put them in their place. Six feet under as a matter of fact. They buried our grave and we jumped right in.

After a long six months of work, the newest Johnny Hates 45's album is now available. We've avoided our traditional fast songs, instead going for more melodic, complex songs featuring a range of sounds. Composed by Noah Sommers and Lewd Tuna, we hope that you can enjoy it!

With our debut self titled album, issues like gentrification, political corruption, and class warfare are all talked about. With a no fucks attitude, we're trying to bring punk back to what it's all about. Rebellion. No corporate bullshit here. ... more
